THERAPY IS A PRIVATE AND INTIMATE JOURNEY
Confidentiality
Therapy is a very private and intimate journey, and you need to feel safe and feel a basis of trust is possible from the start. Your confidentiality is my utmost concern, whether we work together in person at the clinic or on the internet over cyberspace. I make sure that I am up to date with legal and technological developments and use recommended platforms suitable for therapeutic work and for email. I will provide you with written information about this and work within ethical and legal frameworks including the Data Protection Act (1998).
Privacy Statement
Data Protection legislation gives us all more rights over how our data is collected stored and used and aims to protect our information and our privacy. It addresses issues raised by modern technology and how data is collected used and stored. Your confidentiality, and the security of your data, is my priority. As well as legal frameworks, I also abide by professional ethical frameworks and codes of conduct. I am a Registered Member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy and the Association of Cognitive Analytic Therapists (ACAT).

I promise not to share it with anyone unless I have a professional or legal obligation. By signing this document, you give me permission to collect information concerning your mental health along with other data which is necessary to deliver my services.
